Is this a speed dating event?

Not exactly—it’s better than speed dating!

• Classic Singles Night: You'll sit with 4-6 people at a table and have 10-15 minutes to play a game or answer conversation cards. Between rounds, you’ll move to a new table, giving you the chance to meet many people (though not necessarily everyone). The event wraps up with time to mingle.

• Singles Mixer: This is a more relaxed event with minimal facilitation, allowing you to move freely and strike up conversations with anyone who catches your interest.

What should I expect at the event?

You can expect a warm welcome, a relaxed atmosphere, and activities designed to help you connect with others.

• Singles Mixer: Enjoy a casual, self-paced evening where you can roam freely and strike up conversations with whomever you’d like.

Is there a dress code?

Think of it as dressing for a first date—choose something that makes you feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident.

What if I’m shy or nervous?

Our experienced hosts create a warm and supportive environment to help you feel at ease. The activities are designed to make everyone comfortable, so you’ll be in great hands!

Who are these events for?

Our events are for people open to dating and keen to meet new people in a relaxed, fun, and inclusive environment. We offer events for different age groups and are always looking to add more events. Sign up to our mailing list to learn more!

How do I get tickets?

Tickets are available through our Humanitix page. We recommend booking early, as spots are limited and some age groups tend to sell out quickly.

What happens if I can’t make it after booking?

If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to refund your ticket through Humanitix up to 7 days before the event. Learn how to refund your ticket HERE. Refunds or transfers may be available if requested within the week of the event. No refund will be given with less than 24 hours notice.

What does it mean if the event page is sold out and telling me to join a waitlist?

We take care to ensure that our events don't have loads of men and hardly any women, or vice versa, and so we release tickets in short bursts to keep the numbers even. If tickets for your gender are sold out, simply join the waitlist and you'll get an email when the other gender's tickets have caught up and we can release more. If you don't get an email before the event, join us at the next one!Do I have to participate in the activities?

We encourage participation to get the most out of the event, but there’s no pressure. You can engage at your own pace and comfort level.

What age groups are the events for?

Our classic singles nights cater to a variety of age groups, such as 20-35, 30-45, 40-55. Our singles mixers run in two age groups—over 40 and under 40.

Can I attend an event if I’m outside the age range?

We get that age brackets don’t always fit perfectly. If you’re within 5 years of the specified age range, you’re welcome to join. If you’re further outside the range, we recommend attending one of our mixer events, which are open to everyone.

What makes your events different?

Unlike traditional singles events or speed dating, we focus on creating meaningful connections through structured yet relaxed activities. You’ll leave with more than just a few phone numbers—you’ll have great conversations and a memorable experience.

What should I bring?

Just yourself and a positive attitude! Everything you need for the activities will be provided.

What’s your policy on inclusivity?

We strive to create an inclusive and respectful environment for everyone. This includes queer folk, people who identify beyond the binary, people with different needs, and people who use wheelchairs or have support people. If you have specific needs or concerns, feel free to contact us before the event.

Can I bring a support person along with me?

If you’re a carer or support person for someone who requires extra assistance, you’re welcome to attend free of charge. Simply add your name in the accessibility question when they purchase their ticket.

If you’re asking about bringing a single wingman, they’ll need to purchase their own ticket. If your wingman is partnered, we recommend they meet you before or after the event to debrief.
